L-Arginine and Vigor Boost™
L-arginine is an amino acid the body uses to make nitric oxide, a molecule that helps blood vessels relax.
In brief
- A building block of protein
- Used by the body to make nitric oxide
- Found in meat, fish, nuts and seeds
- One of nine named ingredients
What it is
L-arginine is one of the amino acids, the small units that link together to form proteins. The body also uses it to make nitric oxide, a gas that signals blood vessels to relax and widen. That link to healthy circulation is why L-arginine appears in many circulation and performance formulas.* Most healthy people make some L-arginine themselves and take in more through protein foods.
Where it comes from
Turkey, chicken, pork, fish, dairy, nuts, seeds and legumes all supply arginine. Supplement makers produce L-arginine by fermentation, which gives a pure, consistent powder.
Why it is in Vigor Boost
Vigor Boost lists L-arginine seventh.* Your Vigor Boost label shows the combined blend of 82 mg per gummy, which includes this ingredient. L-Arginine, Tribulus and Horny Goat Weed pairs it with two herbs.
